Gov. Bindow, others wins award



It was a night of glitz, glamour, recognition, appreciation and display of talents at the 2nd edition of the Adamawa Entertainment Awards ADEA which took place in Yola, Adamawa State capital on Christmas eve.

The event which highlighted the best of Adamawa’s talent across Celebrity, Media, Music, and Politics saw the likes of Abdulrazak Namdas, member House of Reps, Dr. Bitrus Fidelis Chagwa and many notable and respected individuals.
To honour politicians in the state a category was added in this year awards tagged “YOUTH/SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT” Adamawa state Governor, Umaru Jibrilla Bindow won the award on good governance, Sen. Abdullaziz Murtala Nyako as Senator of the year, Hon. Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas as Member House of Representative of the Year, Hon. Sunday Peter as Member Adamawa State House Of Assembly, Dr. Bitrus Fidelis Chagwa as personality of the year.
While Hon. Barr. Lilian Stephen as commissioner of the year, Hon. Talatu Yohanna won the award of merit.
Meanwhile in the Music category, DJ AB from Kaduna won the Arewa artist of the year amidst stiff competiton from B.O.C from Bauchi, Morell from Borno, Classiq also from Bauchi, Yung Kheengs from Yobe etc.
Naydo beats off competition from the likes of Natty Bard, Maupheen, Ricwes and Joevan to clinch the biggest award of the event, the Artist of the year award.
1P, Marqos, Joerex, J-Wills and Excel who vied for the BEST R&B/POP ARTIST, with 1P clinching the award. The Olamide “WHO U EPP” competition winner Maupheen won the BEST HIP HOP/ RAP ARTIST, as he beat the likes of Natty Bard, A’one, Ricwes and Oracool.
Babu kamar ka by Bishop Tee won the Best Gospel Song, other nominees in the same category are Am on fire by Stine-P, Chi-mo by Gwills & Kelechi, Words Of Freedom by ND James and Mai Girma by Twin Praiz.
Parousia won in his category as Best Afro/Reggae/Dancehall artist beating the likes of Micel, Mehens and Joevan. Best Trado/Indigenous Artist was won by Ado Daukaka.
Return of the KingRomeeyor Ft Brflex won in the Best collaboration category. G-Wills wins the Best Music Producer award.
DJ Jaff wins in the best DJ category which has the likes of DJ Broonzy, DJ Naff, DJ B-Face and DJ Young. Aei Jay won the Best Spoken words/poetry awards.
Gaba Gaba (Moving Forward) by ND James won the Best Music Video category, while Jesus Parrot won the Best Comedian award. You should watch out for IBEE as he clinched the Next rated artist award.
Meanwhile in the Movies/Film/Tv Series category, Kujeran Wuta won as the Best Film/Tv Series of the year. While Maichunkoso and Rita Fidelis won the Best Actor and Best Actress of the Year respectively.  
Faisal Oyoyo won the Best Film Director of the year, while Grace Yakubu won the Best Director of Photography award.
Phils Emjay blog won its 2nd award this year as the Best Entertainment Blog, while Peter Cheman Koti and Gifted Jim won the OAP of the year male and OAP of the year female awards respectively.
The Scope Newspaper won the Best Newspaper/Magazine award, Tv Gotel won the Best Tv station award, Fombina Fm won the Best Radio station. While Comrade Barnabas Manyam won the Best Journalist in print award.
The Adamawa Entertainment Awards ( ADEA) is an annual Entertainment Award Show inspired to celebrate the entertainers and change makers in our society and also, to address one of the issues plaguing humanity known as ‘economic depression’ and to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Adamawa, Nigeria and the Pan- African people, by delivering the best entertainment content at the event, perfect for networking, family outings, after work relaxation with friends or colleagues.
